Other Information:John was a student at University College, London, qualifying M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., L.S.A. (Lond.) and D.P.H. (Camb.) in 1886. He was medical officer of health for the county borough of Southport, and had made several contributions to the medical journals. He died at Curragh Camp as a result of a riding accident. *While schooling a horse over hurdles at the riding school at the camp, he was thrown, and sustained a fracture of the skull.
