Other Information:William enlisted on 8th October 1908 He was 19 years and 2 months old; and was a General Labourer by trade. He entered the war in France on 23rd August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 1st Bn. Royal Dublin Fusiliers. He was discharged on 23rd December 1919, "surplus to military requirement (having suffered impairment since entry into services)". At the time he had been serving with the 6th Field Ambulance. His address was given as 49 Dale Road, Derby.
