Other Information:William was privately educated, and became a Theological Student at the Lichfield Theological College - wanting to take Holy Orders. He was living in Bristol when he joined the R.A.M.C. in July 1915. He served with the Salonika Army from August 1916 and died in Salonika from wounds received by the bursting of a shell while in his rest hut. William was the only son of the Rev. William Earle Tyndale and Marion Tyndale (Daughter of Thomas Fairfax) of 37 Ravenswood Road, Redland, Bristol.
