Other Information:Malcolm was educated at the Roan School and New College Margate, and Guy's Hospital, qualifying M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. in 1908 and M.B., B.S. (London) in 1909. He was in practice at Emsworth, Hants when he volunteered for service with the R.A.M.C., he gained a commission in September 1915. Entering the war on 23rd September 1915, he served in Gallipoli, contracting dysentery at Sulva Bay he was invalided to Malta. When he recovered he was attached to the Worcester Regiment and went to the Tigris Front, where he was severly wounded on 9th April 1916, and died the next day at the 16th Casualty Clearing Station, Orah, Mespoptamia. Malcolm was the fourth on of Edward and Alice Ball of Lewisham Hill, London; and the husband of Evelyn Irene Ball of 5A Belmont Park, Lee, London.
