Other Information:Enoch joined the R.A.M.C. on 1st February 1915. He is reported to have started his service on board H.M.H.S. "Dongola", then transferred to H.M.H.S. "Galeka" on 24th June 1916. On 28th October 1916, H.M.H.S. "Galeka" was mined off Cape Grenade, near Le Havre - Enoch is one of the survivors of this tragedy. It is also reported that he later served on H.M.H.S. "Princess Elizabeth" running between Dover and Boulogne until he was discharged. Due to memorabilia, Enoch's family believe that he also spent some of his service in the Somme and Ypres theatres of war . Enoch received one wound stripe. He resided at 46 Pye Green Road, Cannock.
