Other Information:Nigel was born in Australia, and qualified M.B., Ch.M at the University of Sydney. He was training as a paediatrician in England at East London Hospital for Children when war broke out. He enlisted into the R.A.M.C. on 9th September 1914, then after training entered the war in Egypt. He began his war service abroad with No 15 General Hospital. Nigel wrote about his war experiences in letters to his mother. His story can be found in the book 'Brothers in Arms' by Louise Wilson.
