Other Information:Laurence was a student at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, entering as a student in 1886, he obtained the diplomas of M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. in 1892, and graduated M.D. in 1912. He held appointments at the East London Hospital for Children; was assistant house-surgeon at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital; and was clinical assistant in the skin department at St Bartholomew's Hospital. He went into practice at Farnborough, then prior to joining the R.A.M.C. he was in practice at Sheerness where he was medical officer to the Post Office,; divisional surgeon to the St John Ambulance Brigade; acting commandant and medical officer to the local V.A.D., and civil surgeon to the Well March Military Hospital, Sheerness. Laurence entered the war in France on 18th April 1918. He died in No 20 General Hospital of pneumonia following influenza. He was the husband of Bessie C Winter of 10 Lyncroft Gardens, West Hampstead, London.
