Other Information:Barcham enlisted into the R.A.M.C. on 7th September 1914. He was 40 years and 137 days old, and was a Draper by trade. He entered the war in Egypt on 3rd April 1915. He was mentioned in despatched for gallant and distinguished services in the field on 22nd September 1915. He was admitted into his unit due to ill heath and died of pneumonia (tubercular). He was the husband of A M Colls of 55 High Street, Portsmouth.
