Other Information:Henry lived in Ash Vale. He entered the war in France on 18th August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 1st Brigade. Royal Field Artillery. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He worked continuously for thirty-six hours under heavy shell fire, and it was largely due to his daring, coolness and splendid leading that the battlefield was so rapidly cleared of wounded."
