Other Information:Arthur qualifed M.R.C.S. [Eng] and L.R.C.P. [Lond] in 1917 at Bristol University. He then worked as Casualty Honorable Surgeon at Bristol General Hospital until early 1918 when he left to support the war. Arthur enlisted into the R.A.M.C. [Special Reserve]. He entered the war in France in March 1918 with the 1/3rd West Lancashire Field Ambulance but also served with the 2/1st Wessex Field Ambulance, as Medical Officer to the 1/5th Bn. Kings Own Royal Lancashire Regiment, the 1/5th Bn. South Lancashire Regiment and the Labour Corps, and also the 10th and 39th Stationary Hospitals and as well as Medical Officer to the British troops in Tournai.
