Other Information:James lived in Kentish Town. He entered the war in France on 11th August 1915. On 6th March 1917 he was admitted 'sick' to hospital of the 2nd Field Ambulance. On 2nd June 1917 he proceeded to 409th Lowland Field Coy R.E. for water duty. He rejoined the 141st Field Ambulance on 12th May 1917 from No 1 Prisoner of War Camp. He was demobilized on 13th March 1919 whilst he was on leave to the UK, and was struck off the strength of the unit.
