Other Information:

Edward attested on 11th January 1915. He was 20 years old, a coal miner by trade, and living at 2 Poplar Place, Adwy'r Clawdd nr Wrexham at the time. He started his training with the R.A.M.C. before being transferred as Pte 31010 to the 3rd Royal Welsh Fusiliers on 2nd June 1915 and received subsequent training at Litherland camp.
