Other Information:

George entered the war in France on 29th September 1915 but it is known he also served in Gallipoli. It is believed, from family photographs that he served in the R.A.M.C. as a cook. George was discharged in 1919. He died at Welwyn Garden City, Herts. [Information kindly provided by family]
