Other Information:John enlisted on 25th February 1914. He was 23 years and 192 days old, and was a plate polisher by trade. He entered the war in France on 19th August 1914. On 6th October 1914 he was admitted into the hospital of his unit suffering with �Debility�. On 13th October he was evacuated to No 2 General Hospital due to Enteric Fever, but was transferred to No 1 General Hospital two days later, on the 15th. On 23rd November 1914 he was evacuated back to the UK. John was discharged �no longer physically fit for war service on 5th January 1916. At some point after his discharge he became a patient in Warwick Asylum, where he died. He was the son of John and Jane Twycross of 23 East Street, Coventry.
