According to Frederick’s medal index card, he joined the RAMC before the outbreak of war on 6th July 1914. In November 1917 he was transferred to the Labour Corps for posting to an Agricultural Labour Company. He was discharged on 16th March 1919, sick and died on 10th June 1920 in Harrogate. Frederick was the husband of Eleanor Day of 3 Archie Street, Harrogate [Information researched and kindly provided by Chris Ludlam]
