Albert Charles Clark resided at the Fant Arms Pub 224 Upper Fant Road Maidstone and was a bricklayer. He enlisted with the 1st Home Counties FA TF on the 15th January 1915. He disembarked from Southampton on the 23rd January and arrived at Le Havre in France on the 24th January 1917. He served with the 2/1st Home Counties FA with the 58th London division. On the 8th August 1918 he was admitted to hospital with dysentry and was sent home to the UK to the Barton Convalescent Hospital in New Milton and did not return to France.
