He arrived Home from India for duty on 09 November 1910 onboard the 2nd Transport ship Dongola, and was posted to the Scottish Command (https://militaryhealth.bmj.com/content/jramc/15/6/95.full.p- df pages 95 and 109) Lieutenant-Colonel GA Kempthorne, DSO, authored The Army Medical Services at Home and Abroad, 1803-1808
