The father of John Boyd (Herbert Boyd) had a sister named Albinia, and she married Sydney Herbert Nobbs Rawden, he was the son of George Nobbs and Sarah Christian, and Sarah was a grand daughter of both Fletcher Christian and Mathew Quintal, the Bounty Mutineers, so John Boyd, through marriage of his Aunt, was related to the Bounty Mutineers.
